15/06/2026  The official aftermovie of the international RRR2025 Conference on sustainable peatland use and paludiculture is now available online.

The film looks back on four days of exchange between science, policy, and practice, bringing together more than 350 participants and 84 presentations from around the world. Voices from Europe, Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States highlight experiences with paludiculture, knowledge transfer, and the links between climate mitigation and viable livelihoods.

The conference demonstrated growing momentum for the rewetting and productive use of peatlands. Recent policy and funding developments in several countries further underline the increasing relevance of paludiculture as a climate solution and land-use strategy.

The aftermovie captures key impressions from the event and the international network working to advance wet peatland use. At the same time, it offers a glimpse ahead as the community prepares for the next RRR Conference in 2028.
